Jamie Nole is from the Iskut and Gingolx First Nations. She is mainly a
painter, photographer, and digital image editor; although her other
creative abilities include weaving, carving, working with textiles,
graphic designing, and sculpturing. She began working as an artist as
soon as she was able to pick up a pencil. Most of Jamie's art represents the positive outcome of lower emotions
that many people, including herself, experienced in life. Her goal is to
to reflect upon herself by adding her traditional Northwest Coast art
into her paintings of modern art.
